This Privacy Policy explains how E-Z Open Garage Door Service, Inc. ("EZ Open," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit ezopenky.com (the "Site"), request a quote, schedule service, chat or text with us, or otherwise contact us. Our office is located at 105 Man O War Dr, Danville, KY 40422. By using the Site you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Service.

Information We Collect

• Information you provide. When you submit a quote or contact form, call, text, chat, or email us: your name, phone number, email address, service address or city, the type of garage-door work you need, and anything you include in your message. If you apply for financing, the application is completed on the lender's own site (see Payment Security) — we do not receive your financial account details.
• Information collected automatically. Device and usage data such as IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time on page, collected through cookies and similar technologies described below.
• Communications. The content of calls, texts, chats, and emails with our office so we can respond to your request and keep a record of the work we discussed.

How We Use Your Information

• Respond to your request, provide estimates, schedule and perform garage-door repair, installation, maintenance, and emergency service, and follow up on open quotes.
• Communicate with you about appointments, service, warranties, and invoices.
• Operate, secure, and improve the Site — including spam and abuse prevention and understanding which pages and services visitors find useful.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Cookies, Analytics & Tools We Use

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. We name here only the tools actually in use on ezopenky.com:

• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) — traffic and page-performance measurement, and measurement of advertising that brings visitors to the Site. These tools run in Google Consent Mode: in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland they collect nothing until you accept; everywhere else they run by default and you may opt out whenever you choose using the choices below.
• Google reCAPTCHA (Google LLC) — spam and abuse protection on our forms. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Google Ads (Google LLC) — conversion measurement for the advertising that brings visitors to the Site, loaded through Google Tag Manager and governed by the same Consent Mode choices as Google Analytics.
• WhatConverts (WhatConverts, LLC) — call tracking and dynamic number insertion: the phone number shown on the Site may vary by how you arrived so our office can see which pages and campaigns generate calls. Calls to those numbers may be recorded for quality and training; WhatConverts stores the caller number, time, and source page.
• Google Maps (Google LLC) — the embedded maps on our homepage and in the Site footer that show our Danville location and service area. Google may set cookies and collect usage data when a map loads; the same Google Privacy Policy and Terms apply.
• Podium webchat and texting (Podium Corporation) — the chat button on the Site and the text-message conversations that start from it. Podium processes the phone number and messages you provide so our office can reply. Podium's own privacy terms apply to that service.
• Cloudflare and our hosting provider — content delivery, security, and the strictly necessary cookies needed to serve the Site safely.

Strictly necessary cookies (security, spam protection, remembering your cookie choice) are always on. Measurement cookies can be turned off on the Site whenever you choose: open Your Privacy Choices, or adjust your browser settings. This list is kept current: if we add social-media pixels or advertising retargeting tools to the Site, we will update this policy first.

Text Messaging (TCPA & A2P 10DLC)

Texting is optional. If you check the separate text-message box on one of our forms, or start a conversation through the Podium chat button, you agree that E-Z Open Garage Door Service, Inc. may send you text messages about your request — appointment confirmations, service updates, and follow-ups — at the number you provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe whenever you wish and HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, and you can still request service by phone or email without opting in.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us run the business and the Site — form delivery and lead-management, messaging (Podium), analytics (Google), spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA), hosting and security (Cloudflare), and our website provider — each bound to use the information only to provide their service to us.
• Financing partners, only when you choose to apply for financing on the lender's own site.
• Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, employees, or others.

Payment Security

We never collect or store credit- or debit-card numbers, bank account numbers, or other payment credentials on the Site. There are no card-entry fields on ezopenky.com. Financing applications are completed on the lender's secure, PCI-compliant hosted application (a third-party site with its own privacy policy), and in-person or invoiced payments are processed by our office through PCI-compliant payment processors. If you are ever asked to type card details into a page that looks like ours, stop and call us at 859-239-9090.

Your Privacy Choices

You can control measurement cookies and the sharing of your information whenever you choose. On the Site, open Your Privacy Choices (also linked as "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer of every page) to accept or reject non-essential cookies; your choice is saved and honored on return visits. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal automatically: when your browser sends it, measurement and advertising cookies are turned off with no action required, and we treat the signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing.

• Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link where provided, or contact us.
• Access, correction, deletion, or do-not-sell-or-share requests: contact us using the details at the end of this policy and we will respond as required by the law that applies to you.

Your California Privacy Rights — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you the rights described in this section. We extend the same choices to every visitor regardless of state.

Categories of personal information we collect (in the last 12 months):

• Identifiers and contact information — name, phone number, email address, service address — provided by you through forms, calls, texts, chat, and email.
• Internet or network activity — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and interaction data — collected through Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, WhatConverts call tracking, Google reCAPTCHA, and Cloudflare as described above.
• Commercial information — the services you requested, quotes, and work history with us.
• Approximate geolocation inferred from IP address (never precise GPS location).

Sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. Under the CPRA, allowing analytics and advertising-measurement tools to set cookies can be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. To the extent Google Analytics or Google Ads measurement is considered sharing, you may opt out using the on-site choice above or a Global Privacy Control signal, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Your rights:

• Right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share, and the categories of sources and recipients.
• Right to delete personal information we hold, with legal exceptions.
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your rights.

We will verify your request using the contact information you already provided to us and respond within the time required by law. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission.

Data Retention & Security

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services, keep required business and tax records, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, and we use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to Other Sites

The Site links to third-party sites, including financing applications, manufacturer pages, and review platforms. Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies before providing information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes, and material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect.
