E-Z Open Garage Door Service, Inc. ("EZ Open") wants everyone — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification, or other assistive technology — to be able to find our services, read our guides, and request a quote on ezopenky.com. We are committed to conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA and to continuing to improve the site's accessibility over time.

What We Have in Place

• A "Skip to main content" link as the first focusable element on every page, and consistent landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) for assistive technology.
• Full keyboard operation of the navigation menus, quote tools, forms, and cookie preferences, with a visible focus indicator on links, buttons, and form fields.
• Text alternatives for informative images and empty alternatives for decorative ones; headings in a logical order; and descriptive link text.
• Color contrast that meets the 4.5:1 minimum for body text, and content that reflows for mobile screens and up to 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
• Every form field has a visible, programmatically associated label, and errors are announced in text — not by color alone.
• Motion — including the scrolling ticker and reveal animations — respects the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system.

Known Limitations

• The website chat button is provided by a third-party service (Podium). We have asked the vendor to maintain its own accessibility; if the chat window is hard to use, call or email us instead and we will help the same way.
• Some manufacturer brochures and financing applications are hosted on other companies' sites and may not meet the same standard.
• Older photographs and customer-submitted images may have limited descriptions. We review and improve these as they are found.

How We Check

The site is tested with automated tools (Lighthouse and axe) and with manual keyboard and screen-reader checks before launch and after significant updates. Accessibility issues reported by visitors are reviewed by our website team and fixed as part of routine maintenance.
